Color is not a code. It is an experience.
LIVING COLOR: two activations dedicated to the materiality, perception, and emotion of color.
At MakeUp in Paris 2026, color leaves the shade card behind to become a living material once more. Beyond formulation and trends, we wanted to explore what color does: how it is perceived, how it moves us, how it is made.
Talking About Color: the sensory exhibition, by Isabelle Pain.
A scenography where each shade is treated as a narrative. The ashy mauve that “seems born from the encounter between violet and silence,” the red that vibrates, the blue that electrifies: an intimate and artistic reading of color, at skin level and through emotion. An invitation to see differently what the industry creates every day.

The Living Pigment, by Le Rouge Français.
With the house of Plant-Based Makeupology, color returns to its source: the plant. An experiential activation where visitors discover how a 100% plant-based pigment becomes lipstick, eyeshadow, or blush (free from endocrine disruptors, Cosmos certified, made in France). Proof, through material itself, that desirability and clean beauty are no longer at odds.

Two activations. Two days. One shared conviction: color is an experience to be lived, not just formulated.
