- Meryem has more than 15 years of experience in strategy, marketing and sales in corporate companies: Printemps (leading department store), the fashion brand Diesel and Disney. She decided to create Shaeri, a multicultural cosmetics brand, combining French cosmetics science with traditional mediterranean traditions. She is an alumni of the top French Business school ESCP and the famous Institut Français la Mode. “Creating Shaeri was a way to combine my family background and professional skills but also to combine my two countries and cultures, bringing the best of French science with our beautiful Moroccan beauty traditions” Meryem was born and raised in Morocco, North Africa. She moved to France with a scholarship at 18 y.o. for her studies. Benomar came from a family of scientists: Her mother and sister are doctor of pharmacy while her aunt, Pr. Khadija Fellat, doctor in chemistry, was the first scientist to conduct fundamental and applied research on moroccan oils.
