- AN EXTRAORDINARY CAREER Dr. Valérie Leduc is one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary French medicine. Trained at Paris V University, where she earned her medical degree in 1987, she then specialized in vascular pathology at Paris VII University in 1990. She began her career as an angiologist affiliated with the Necker and Lariboisière university hospitals in Paris. She then shifted toward the pharmaceutical industry, holding senior marketing positions at Schwarz Pharma and later at Amgen, a U.S.-based biotechnology company. This experience gave her a strategic and entrepreneurial perspective that she has leveraged throughout her career. In 2012, she left Paris for Geneva, where she founded the “Centre médical de la jolie jambe et de la silhouette” within the spa of the La Réserve hotel, a leading five-star establishment. There, she developed an integrative and personalized approach and realized that one cannot treat the exterior without addressing the interior. This pivotal turning point proved foundational. Returning to Paris in 2017, she opened her “Médecine de la Beauté” practice in the 8th arrondissement—a registered trademark that became the cornerstone of her clinical philosophy. At the same time, she trained in dermatological laser therapy at the University of Poitiers, in sexology at the University of Montreal, and in anti-aging medicine at Paris-Est Créteil University. She is a member of the Healthy Longevity Medicine Society and LongevityDocs. In 2021, she co-founded Maison Epigenetic in the heart of Paris’s 16th arrondissement alongside Nicolas Olivier and Xavier Rambaud. The first French establishment entirely dedicated to functional longevity, Maison Epigenetic embodies her vision: translating scientific advances into accessible, measurable, and personalized protocols. A MEDICAL CONVICTION: PREVENTION ABOVE ALL Dr. Leduc’s philosophy is based on a key epigenetic observation: while 15% of our genetic makeup is immutable, the remaining 85% is directly influenced by our lifestyle. Nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and social connections: these five pillars form the core of her practice. She has conceptualized the “Muscle–Bone–Cognitive–Skin Virtuous Circle,” a systemic approach suggesting that optimizing one of these pillars inevitably strengthens the other three, creating a dynamic of overall regeneration. This counterintuitive vision repositions aesthetic medicine as a fully-fledged longevity discipline. She advocates for predictive and preventive medicine, in contrast to a purely reactive approach. Her belief: longevity is not managed at the end of life—it is built from the age of 35 or 40, when the body is still capable of reprogramming itself. This high standard, forged over more than thirty years of clinical practice, is what she applies today to longevity medicine. PUBLICATION La Médecine de la beauté, le meilleur des innovations thérapeutiques Éditions du Seuil, January 2021, 224 pages. Subtitled “Choose your age,” the book has sold more than 5,000 copies. COLLABORATIONS AND SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS Dr. Leduc collaborates with major industrial groups on the scientific validation of epigenetic products and protocols, including LVMH (Cheval Blanc), Beiersdorf (Eucerin, Nivea), and Guerlain. In April 2026, she spoke as a scientific expert and invited speaker for Cheval Blanc. On the academic and professional front, she regularly speaks at national and European conferences: Société Française de Médecine Esthétique (SFME), vascular medicine societies, and anti-aging masterclasses. In November 2024, she was an official speaker at Tech For Longevity at Station F, Paris. She presents in both French and English to medical, public, and corporate audiences, in keynote formats (45 to 90 minutes), panels, masterclasses, or fireside chats.
